You Need Help

From the time we are little up through old age, we try to be independent. When we are babies, we grab the spoon and say, “I’ll do it myself.” When we get to be teenagers, we want even more independence. As adults, we feel like we are less than grown up if we have to ask for directions or help. As older adults, we want our independence and we don’t want to be a bother or a burden. Solomon says that there is wisdom in seeking help from others. He wrote:

Plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advisers they succeed. – Proverbs 15:22 (NIV)

If you want a better chance at success in your plans and in your life, you need other people. Perhaps a mentor or an adviser could help get you on the right track. Whether it is spiritual, relational or vocational, input, counsel and advice never hurt. Don’t try to do everything by yourself. Ask for help and your chances at success will increase.

This is pertaining to all of last weeks blogs. Every now and then we’ve all needed to listen to our hearts, stop thinking with our heads. Listening to someones advice and putting it in to motion. All of what I read last week, was really taken to heart and now I’m going to build on that advice and move forward towards my relationship with God.

The Truth, the Light and the Way. Jesus, more than a man. This is incredible. Any person who claims to be a Christian, and reads the Word should have an immediate “ah ha ” moment. Your words are true. Everyone needs to be aware of false prophets. I couldn’t agree with you more. Take a look at the condition of the world we live in. Be of strong faith. Be a true believer. God is with us. Always.
